London, Sept 28, 2023−The Canada-United Kingdom Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce that Bob El-Hawary and Katie Fedosenko joined the Chamber’s Board in the UK earlier this year.
Bob El-Hawary is the Executive Vice President of Global Sales at Cognitive Systems; a Canada-based software company providing value-add broadband applications and services based on Wi-Fi Motion Sensing in the Technology and Health sectors. Bob has over 25 years of extensive commercial, technical, sales, marketing and people management experience in the global Telecommunications and IT industry, and an outstanding track record of achievement in supporting major international partners and customers. Bob was recently the Vice President of EMEA Mobile Operators and Strategic Global Accounts in the BlackBerry Mobile Business Unit in TCL, leading sales and marketing for BlackBerry Products and Cloud Security Solutions to Mobile Operators, Carriers, Retailers, Governments and Enterprises. Prior to this Bob started his career at Nortel Networks progressing to being Vice President and General Manager Carrier Data EMEA and responsible for all 3G & 4G Carrier Data Security and Transport Sales Business in EMEA.

Katie Fedosenko is the Director, ESG Engagement at Teck Resources Ltd based in London. Teck is a leading Canadian mining company responsibly producing copper, zinc and steelmaking coal in Canada, the US, Chile and Peru. In her role, Katie is responsible for engaging investors, ESG influencers including civil society, government and industry associations, banks and industry peers to build the company’s profile in Europe, advise senior leaders on ESG trends and influence best practice. Since joining Teck in 2013, Katie has held progressively more senior roles within sustainability and external affairs, leading Teck's award-winning sustainability reporting and ESG disclosure for five years, co-leading the update of Teck’s corporate sustainability strategy and most recently embedding sustainability into Teck's transformation program RACE21. Prior to joining Teck, Katie was a freelance writer and communications consultant who worked for ENGOs.
Katie Fedosenko commented, ‘I am honoured to be appointed Director of such a longstanding Canadian bilateral Chamber in the UK, continuing to assist businesses of all sizes on both sides of the Atlantic.
