Dear Members & Friends of the Chamber
Our event programme is once again a full and busy one between now and the year end. Last week we held our 5th Canadian University Alumni Reception at the Royal Overseas League, and despite the challenge of the train strike, it was great to see so many there representing Canadian universities. A Big Thank You to our corporate and university sponsors Scotiabank, University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management, Simon Fraser University, University of British Columbia, University of Alberta, McMaster University, University of Western Ontario, Queen's University and CIBC. We will be planning the next alumni reception for 2024 very shortly. We hope to see as many if not more at Canada House on 26 Oct for our Member Engagement evening -a chance to hear from recently joined members, as well as catch up with many others.
This edition we highlight Resources news from our corporate members and contacts following the recent Critical Minerals events in London, as well as highlight some Canadian Commercial Success Stories in the UK, and UK Success Stories in Canada from recent media stories. We will be publishing similar stories with follow up receptions early next year. To feature and/or advertise in those publications, email us at info@canada-uk.org and we can follow up.
Reminder: members have been contacted this summer about their corporate and personal profiles on our new website - for assistance setting up your Privacy Settings, click here or get in touch. You will need these set so you can contact other members direct.
Finally, we will shortly once again be reaching out to members in our Annual Member Survey. We encourage you all to provide feedback, so we can adapt and deliver the services you need.
