London, Sept 26, 2023 -The Canada-United Kingdom Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce that Jaspreet Grewal and Stéphane Jalbert have joined the Chamber’s Board in the UK.
Jaspreet Grewal is CEO and co-founder of AxialBridge and an accomplished clinician, researcher and venture partner, bringing nearly 20 years of experience to companies focused on the Life Sciences. She has held several positions with increasing responsibilities in various healthcare roles throughout her career. She has successfully merged her expertise and passion for innovation, research and finance to become a dynamic leader both in Canada and the UK. She is a published researcher, entrepreneur in residence and graduate school instructor, and is passionate about supporting her diverse international clientele in the areas of clinical research, strategic consulting and access to capital and deal flow.
Jaspreet commented, ‘For more than a century, the Chamber has been promoting and facilitating bilateral trade and investment between Canada and the UK. I look forward to working with our members and stakeholders as co-Chair of the Chamber’s Health & Life Sciences Forum, as we set out the many opportunities that a new, ambitious, modern and comprehensive Free Trade Agreement between the UK and Canada will bring’.
Stéphane Jalbert is a Managing Director, Real Estate Investments, Head of Europe and Asia Pacific, at the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments). Since joining PSP Investments in 2009, Stéphane has been instrumental in the development and growth of PSP’s global real estate portfolio. Based in London, UK, Stéphane leads the organization’s activities in the real estate sector in Europe and Asia Pacific. His responsibilities include building and managing the real estate portfolio, establishing global partnerships, and developing a team of top real estate investment professionals.
Stéphane commented, ‘I am honoured to be appointed Director of such a prestigious bilateral Chamber with a strong track record of assisting businesses on both sides of the Atlantic. I look forward to my new role and assisting the Infrastructure and Property, and other Chamber Forums highlighting Canada and the UK’s diverse areas of common interest.’
