The Canada-UK Chamber of Commerce is organizing a Canada-UK Nuclear Day this fall, scheduled to coincide with the World Nuclear Symposium in London.

This event will take place in the afternoon of Wednesday, September 4th at Canada House. The agenda begins with light lunch/coffee/tea and registration starting at 12:00pm, followed by presentations from three VIP speakers, including the High Commissioner, Ontario’s Energy Minister, and the UK Minister of Energy. Following these presentations, there will be a Keynote VIP Speaker and three panel discussions until 4:30pm, followed by a short reception.

We anticipate around 100 attendees, including representatives from Canadian and UK nuclear businesses, government officials, the Canadian Nuclear Association, the UK Nuclear Industry Association, as well as academic institutions with nuclear studies.

Additionally, the British High Commission in Ottawa is planning to bring a business delegation of Canadian companies to attend the World Nuclear Symposium. They will participate in an info session and a site visit on Tuesday, September 3rd, and will also join us for our event on Wednesday September 4th.

All guests must bring Photo ID and register online for this event. If you do not bring Photo ID or your name does not appear on the official guestlist you risk not being allowed access to the venue. All guests must also allow time to go through security upon entry.
